The Integrative Program develop the following interdisciplinary initiatives directly related to the accomplishment of the four GOALS of the center:
(i) Interdisciplinary Research Initiative 1: Address climate change vulnerability in southern Chilean aquaculture by better linking biophysical forcing factors with socioeconomic consequences and governance implications. During 2023 we hope to strengthen climate change adaptation in salmon farming and mussel farming by improving better planning and management as win-win approaches.
(ii) Interdisciplinary Research Initiative 2: Translating research findings into comprehensive policy-making recommendations: this initiative is permanent and at the core of the Integrative Program. It will contribute to integration of scientific findings and will foster multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research.
