Otras especies bacterianas destacan el \u00e1rea geogr\u00e1fica de nuestro pa\u00eds como <em>Flavobacterium chilense<\/em>, <em>Flavobacterium araucananum<\/em> o <em>Chryseobacterium chaponense<\/em> aislado del Lago Chapo, incluso la especie <em>Vibrio tapetis<\/em> subsp. <em>quintayensis<\/em> designaci\u00f3n en honor a la localidad de Quintay, ya que se aisl\u00f3 all\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es destacable se\u00f1alar que el 90% de las nuevas especies han sido inequ\u00edvocamente validadas y confirmadas en la revista cient\u00edfica International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, la principal revista cient\u00edfica que cubre la investigaci\u00f3n en el campo de la sistem\u00e1tica microbiana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEste tipo de investigaciones no tiene mucha visibilidad debido a que un microrganismo o bacteria no es importante sino hasta que causa alg\u00fan problema sanitario o tiene un potencial\u00a0 biotecnol\u00f3gico como puede ser alg\u00fan compuesto inhibidor de otras bacterias pat\u00f3genas. Sin embargo, esta l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n nos ha permitido establecer colaboraciones con prestigiosos investigadores del \u00e1rea de la microbiolog\u00eda y connotados cient\u00edficos en la sistem\u00e1tica microbiana y convertirnos en l\u00edderes en el pa\u00eds\u201d, explic\u00f3 el Dr. Avenda\u00f1o-Herrera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cDe hecho, este tipo de estudios microbiol\u00f3gicos requiere de capacidades diagn\u00f3sticas y un equipo multidisciplinario debido a las diversas\u00a0 pruebas que deben realizarse para demuestrar que la bacteria es nueva y no ha sido descrita previamente.
