Regarding his participation, Dr. Le\u00f3n-Mu\u00f1oz stated, “I strongly believe that it is important for the various stakeholders involved in the development of salmon farming to discuss the present and future challenges of this industry. In particular, it is important to consider how to lead sustainable development in landscapes with multiple uses. For instance, a significant portion of Chilean salmon farming’s freshwater production takes place in basins where actors with various other interests, such as production, tourism, and conservation, converge.
