\nEn el encuentro participaron 8 integrantes de dos L\u00edneas de Investigaci\u00f3n de nuestro centro, 5 de \u201cGen\u00f3mica Acu\u00edcola\u201d (RP1); Dr. Cristian Gallardo-Esc\u00e1rate, Dra. Valentina Valenzuela, Dr. Gustavo N\u00fa\u00f1ez, Dr. Diego Valenzuela y Constanza S\u00e1ez, y 3 de \u201cSalud Animal en Ambiente Marino\u201d (RP3): Dr. Alex Romero, Dr. Alejandro Ya\u00f1ez y Patricio S\u00e1nchez.
\nLa delegaci\u00f3n de la RP1, estuvo liderada por el Subdirector del Centro INCAR e Investigador Principal de la l\u00ednea, Dr. Cristian Gallardo-Esc\u00e1rate, quien adem\u00e1s fue uno de los oradores principales del evento. El IP del Incar dict\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles 19 de junio la charla magistral \u201cCatching the complexity of salmon-louse interactions: a functional genomics approach\u201d.
\nAdem\u00e1s, los investigadores Postdoctorales de la RP1, Dr. Gustavo Nu\u00f1ez, la Dra. Valentina Valenzuela y el Dr. Diego Valenzuela participaron de las sesiones orales presentando sus trabajos.
\nEl Dr. Acu\u00f1a realiz\u00f3 dos presentaciones el martes 18, \u201cPesticide drugs used against sea lice cause transcriptome changes in the early stages of the non-target species Choromytilus chorus”, y “Temperature drives the immune respose in atlantic salmon infected with sea lice: novel insights through transcriptome sequencing analyses”, en las sesiones Molluscan Immunology y Fish Immunology, respectivamente.
\nEl mi\u00e9rcoles 19 de junio, la Dra. Valentina Valenzuela (RP1) expuso “Iron overload alters the immune response in atlantic salmon and increases the susceptibility to Piscirickettsia salmonis infection”, tras lo cual el Dr. Diego Valenzuela present\u00f3 \u201cGenomics for the understanding of the host-pathogen interaction: the case of the atlantic salmon and Piscirickettsia salmonis\u201d, en las sesiones de Fish Immunology y Functional Genomics, respectivamente.

\nAdem\u00e1s de las presentaciones orales, el Centro INCAR tuvo una destacada participaci\u00f3n en el formato p\u00f3ster, haci\u00e9ndose presente con 8 trabajos, 5 de la RP3 y 3 de la RP1.
\nEn la conferencia internacional, el Laboratorio de Inmunolog\u00eda y Estr\u00e9s de Organismos Acu\u00e1ticos de la Universidad Austral de Chile, y al que pertenece el Investigador Asociado del Centro INCAR, Dr. Alex Romero, present\u00f3 4 investigaciones en dicho formato: \u201cSalmo salar glucocorticoid receptors analysis of alternative splicing variants under stress conditions\u201d, \u201cMYD88 dependence on the activation of induced innate effector mechanisms by TLR5M and TLR5S in salmonids\u201d, \u201cSelection of protein candidates for vaccine development against Piscirickettsia salmonis using a reverse vaccinology approach\u201d y \u201cEffect of aloe vera natural additive on enteritis caused by diets that include soybean meal in Atlantic salmon\u201d.
