Webinar “Sustainability and Food: challenge of aquaculture and fishing”

Within the framework of the activities for the month of the sea, the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca) will hold a webinar called “Sustainability and Food: challenges of aquaculture and fisheries”, in which five specialists will participate: the Engineer in Fisheries and Aquaculture and Senior Researcher at Fisheries & Aquaculture International Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, Yasushi Hamamitsu; the Assistant Professor of the Department of Health Promotion for Women and the Newborn, of the University of Chile; Marcela Araya; the National Manager of Sernapesca’s Bivalve Mollusc Sanitary Program (PSMB), Rodrigo Dougnac; the President of Propescado, Osciel Velásquez, and the Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR), Dr. Renato Quiñones.

The activity will take place online this Friday, May 26, starting at 9:30 a.m., and requires prior registration.
