Biography

Dr. Jorge León-Muñoz, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science of the UCSC, focuses on studying the impacts of climate change on aquatic ecosystems in Patagonia. His recent research addresses the analysis of the hydrological signature of rivers that influence the coastal system where Chilean aquaculture is concentrated, studying the risks and challenges posed by current and future hydro-climatic threats. His work is crucial for the management of aquatic resources in the face of climate change challenges.
