The Research Centers of Excellence linked to the Department of Oceanography of the University of Concepción: COPAS Coastal, the Millennium Institute of Oceanography (IMO), the Millennium Institute of Coastal Socio-Ecology (SECOS) and the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR), will participate in the Festival of the Ocean, an activity organized together with the Museum of Natural History of Concepción.

Face painting with marine biodiversity, games associated with the ocean, augmented and virtual reality content, and modules to experiment, are part of the open panoramas that the Museum will offer, within the framework of the “Our Maritorio” cycle, which we develop together with the centers INCAR, SECOS, IMO, COPAS COASTAL and the Department of Oceanography of the UdeC.
Storytelling about the ocean. 3:30 p.m.
Within the framework of the Ocean Festival, the Millennium Institute of Oceanography (IMO) will present a storyteller aimed at children. Activity open until full capacity.
Zine workshop for children. 4:30 p.m.
Through the creation of zines, each participant will be able to inquire about their favorite marine animals. This activity is carried out by the Copas Coastal Research Center, within the framework of the festival. Activity open until full capacity.
