Six researchers from the “Socioeconomic Sustainability” line at INCAR will participate in the IX Annual Meeting on Natural Resources and Environmental Economics, NENRE/Efd Chile. The event will take place in a hybrid format from October 19th to 20th at Hotel Villa Baviera, Parral, Maule Region. The participating researchers include the center’s Principal Investigator, Dr. Jorge Dresdner; the Associate Researchers, Dr. Carlos Chávez and Dr. César Salazar; and the Assistant Researchers, Dr. Marjorie Baquedano, Dr. Manuel Estay, and Dr. Leonardo Salazar.
The primary objective of the Annual NENRE/EfD Chile Meeting is to foster collaboration among researchers, decision-makers, policy-makers, students, and the wider community. This gathering serves as a platform to engage in meaningful discussions regarding the prominent environmental challenges faced by Chile, as well as those encountered in the Global North and the Global South.
