Dr. Ruben Avendaño-Herrera has been appointed as Associate Editor of “Aquaculture Science Management” by Springer Nature

Dr. Ruben Avendaño-Herrera, Principal Investigator of the “Animal Health in Early Stages of Salmonids and Native Resources” line at the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR), and Academic at the Universidad Andrés Bello, has been appointed as an Associate Editor for the upcoming journal “Aquaculture Science Management” by Springer Nature.

Aquaculture Science and Management is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that seeks to disseminate groundbreaking research on the management of aquaculture species, issues concerning food security, and the industry’s interaction with the environment.

The appointment is very motivating for Dr. Avendaño-Herrera as it offers the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary work with colleagues from other countries. Additionally, the nomination is particularly meaningful as it demonstrates the high visibility that the research conducted at the INCAR Center has achieved on a global scale.
