A closing ceremony for the FIC-R Project, “Increasing the Competitiveness of Fishing Coves in Biobío,” took place on the morning of Wednesday, August 21st. The project, funded by the Regional Government of Biobío, was implemented by Universidad de Concepción through the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR), in partnership with Ferepa Biobío and Holon SpA. This event marked the end of a 24-month project, identified by BIP Code 40040409-0, which has positively impacted the communities from ten coves such as Villarrica (Dichato), Quichiuto (Tomé), Lirquén, Penco, El Morro, Lenga, Perone, Chome, Maule, and Arauco.
