The Scientific Committee for the “1st Congress on Antibiotics in Aquaculture: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Sustainability” gathered on Wednesday, October 2nd, in Puerto Varas. The congress, organized by Intesal and the Monterey Bay Aquariumwill take place on November 20th to 22nd at the Hotel Cumbres in Puerto Varas. During this session, the committee established the final agenda for the congress, which seeks to bring together the scientific community, producers, and professionals in the aquaculture field to tackle the issue of antibiotic usage in the industry.
