The Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR) is set to conduct a seminar on October 21st entitled “Vampires: The Beauty of Host-Parasite Interactions,” which will delve into studies focused on the dynamics of host-parasite relationships.
This event will take place in the Claudio Gay auditorium at the Faculty of Natural and Oceanographic Sciences at Universidad de Concepción and will feature three international researchers: Dr. Vaidas Palinausckas from the Nature Research Centre in Lithuania, Dr. Alejandro Cabezas-Cruz from UMR BIPAR (INRAE, Anses, EnvA) in France, and Dr. Cristian Gallardo-Escárate from the Universidad de Concepción and INCAR in Chile.
The seminar will be moderated by Dr. Valentina Valenzuela-Muñoz, faculty member of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Universidad San Sebastián and an Associate Researcher at INCAR.
