The II Congress on “Impacts and Strategies for the Prevention and Control of Caligus in Chilean Salmon Farming” took place at the Cumbres Hotel in Puerto Varas on October 22nd -23rd. The event was organized by the Salmon Technology Institute (INTESAL) in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR), bringing together around 250 attendees. The organizing committee has described the event as a significant milestone, successfully engaging all stakeholders involved in the sector, including private industry, public entities, and academic institutions.
