The presentation of the findings from the FIPA Project 2023-01, entitled “Characterization and Ecological and Genetic Evaluation of Natural Mussel Beds and Their Contribution to the Availability of Larvae for Seed Collection Activities, Phase 1: Reloncaví Fjord and the Municipalities of Hualaihué and Castro,” will be presented in Hotel Castro, Castro, Chiloé.
The event will feature presentations from Dr. Marcela Astorga, the Vice-Rector of the Universidad Austral de Chile (UACh) in Puerto Montt, Dr. Carlos Molinet, the Director of the Institute of Aquaculture and Environment and an Associate Researcher at the Integrative Program of the INCAR Center, and Dr. Cristian Gallardo-Escárate, Deputy Director of the INCAR Center and an academic in the Departamento de Oceanografía, Universidad de Concepción. Additionally, Dr. Cristián Segura and Dr. (c) David Opazo from the Instituto de Fomento Pesquero (IFOP) are also involved in this initiative.
