The Diploma in Climate Change Adaptation for Fisheries and Aquaculture (DACCPA) is an e-Learning program designed for public and private sector professionals in fisheries and environmental fields. This Diploma is a collaborative initiative by Universidad de Concepción along with its COPAS Coastal and INCAR research centers, and it seeks to enhance the ability to recognize and prioritize adaptation strategies and policies in light of climate change.
Over 140 instructional hours across five courses, participants learn conceptual and methodological tools, engage in practical workshops, and develop a final seminar project under guidance from faculty in natural sciences, oceanography, public administration, political science, and geophysics.
