Biography
César Salazar is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business Sciences at the University of Bio-Bio, an associated researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR)-FONDAP-CONICYT, and a senior researcher in the international network Environment for Development (EfD). Dr. Salazar holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and a Master's in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics from the University of Concepción. His research focuses on empirical applications of microeconomic development theory to various issues related to environmental and natural resource exploitation and management, particularly in the fields of marine resources, agriculture, and waste management.
