Dr. Jessica Fuentes Olmos is a lawyer and holds a degree in Legal Sciences from PUCV, with a Doctorate in Law and a Master's degree in Public Law. Since 2006, she has been a professor of Constitutional Law at the same university, where she has published two books and several articles. Professionally, she has held positions such as Head of the Legal Division of Subpesca and has worked in MIDEPLAN and Sernapesca, participating in the processing of legislation related to fishing and aquaculture. Her research area focuses on the Environmental and Sanitary Regulation of Aquaculture, emphasizing sustainability based on an ecosystemic approach.
